In 1966, Texan entrepreneur Fritz Ludington stumbled upon Provo, an island with untapped potential boasting pristine beaches and turquoise waters. Envisioning an immersive, free-spirited escape, Fritz assembled a group of influential families—including the Dupont, Morton, and Roosevelts, called the “Seven Families” to develop the island.
